The New Team

In our November 4th newsletter, Paul and Suanne had the exciting news that they would be entrusting the future of oceanswimsafaris.com to SwimTrek. Since then, I have received a lot of kind words and interest in our next steps.

I have known Paul for over 15 years, so I was truly honoured when he and Suanne approached us with this opportunity. After thoughtful consideration, I felt determined to ensure that SwimTrek would commit to upholding the exceptional reputation for adventurous spirit and unforgettable swimming experiences that oceanswimsafaris.com is known for.

Today, I have more great news to share with you. While Paul & Suanne continue to lead trips in all the current oceanswimsafaris.com locations in 2025, I am really pleased to announce that they will be ably supported by two new recruits.

• Kelli Rabbitt, a travel professional with over two decades of travel & tourism experience, including three years in swim travel. Kelli will lead our Australian based office team.
• Me, Simon Murie. I’m originally from Sydney and have spent many years in both New South Wales and Queensland. I founded SwimTrek 21 years ago and it has grown into the world’s largest swim tour operator, offering 88 trips in some of the world’s best swimming locations… most importantly, I am also an oceanswimsafaris.com customer, having been on the Tonga trip in 2024.

Whether you are a returning guest or considering your first adventure, you will be in excellent hands with the combined expertise of Paul, Suanne, Kelli and I.
